Nguyen Ngoc Tu Uyen

Uyen began as a pioneer in Vietnam’s debate community, shaping the country’s first debate game shows, Truong Teen and The Debaters on VTV7. Through debate, she saw how access to quality education can shape young minds—a realization that led her to pursue a Master’s in Education Leadership from Harvard.

Now at Khan Schools Network, she specializes in supporting the creation of mastery-based schools and developing open-source materials to support educators everywhere. In 2024, she helped launch Khan Lab School Wichita, Kansas.

Uyen’s deep roots in Vietnam have inspired her pay-it-forward effort. Since 2023, she has built a 500+ member education community, offering workshops, 100+ hours of free consultations, and a collection of 200+ resources—all driven by a mission to provide accessible, high-quality, and future-ready education.
